Sometimes We Can't Tell The Whole Story
Because of NDA's and other legal stuff, sometimes I can't say who, but I can tell a bit about how and why.
When Just One More Is One More Too Many
Increased Efficiency = Increased Productivity = Increased Profit
1The Problem
Internal users are suffering from inefficiencies due to too many internal softwares and processes that are redundant and manual.
2The Goal
Increase efficiencies and capabilities in order to provide clients a more streamlined service with higher productivity and less errors.
Average Productivity:
40/day
3The Process
We did onsite interviews with a variety users and mapped out their processes and journeys to find opportunities for improvements and optimizations.
4The Tools
By leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning we were able to combine smart forms with a dashboard that filtered out only the anomalies for human review.
5The Solution
After implementation errors were less than half of the previous state, completion rates had more than doubled and the human touch was up approx. 180%.
Average Productivity: 72/day
AI and Remote Technology
What to do when dangerous environments prevent efficiency
1Unique Challenge
A particularly dangerous envrionment involving nuclear radiation and sentsitive monitoring equipment had to be read reagularly by human users. This required regular outfiting in protective gear and other equipment.
2Technology To The Rescue
We opted to incorporate remote technology into the system that could be placed in these dangerous areas and leveraged to provide data without the need for human intervention and the required safety/protective equipment it would entail.
3A New Problem Arises
The new data streams from the remote tech the systems were overwhelmed with data points and it became almost incomprehensible to digest effectively. This resulted in false positives, untraceable emergency readings and more.
4A Portal For Precision
In order to process all of the new data points we needed to create a portal that would allow for not only monitoring but alarms when a reading was out of safe ranges. The resulting solution is now in use with positive reviews from users.
